Chapter 41 - Full Circle

The encounter in the park reignited a part of me that had been dormant for years—a desire to connect with the mysteries of the universe and share them with the world. In many ways, it felt like life was guiding me back to the passions of my childhood, but this time with the tools, experiences, and wisdom I’d accumulated over the years.
One of the most profound ways this manifested was through my collaboration with Nancy Lieder, the mind behind ZetaTalk. Nancy had always been a source of inspiration to me, her work aligning perfectly with my own fascination with extraterrestrial life. Her teachings about the universe, humanity’s place within it, and the role of extraterrestrial beings deeply resonated with me. So, when the opportunity arose to work with her, it felt like destiny.
Together, we created The Moon, a newspaper dedicated to ZetaTalk and its insights. It wasn’t just a project—it was a labor of love, a way to channel my lifelong interest in aliens and the unknown into something tangible.
The process of making The Moon felt like coming full circle. As a kid, I had poured my heart into creating newspapers like The Brackla Tattler and Hostile Magazine, using nothing but a typewriter, scissors, and a vision. Now, armed with years of experience and a deeper understanding of design and storytelling, I applied those same skills to something that felt deeply personal.
The Moon was more than just a newspaper—it was a bridge between worlds, a way to share ZetaTalk’s teachings with a wider audience while connecting with others who shared our beliefs. It allowed me to use the creative instincts I’d honed as a child and the entrepreneurial spirit that had driven me throughout my life.
Looking back, it’s remarkable how the threads of our past can weave into our present in ways we don’t always anticipate. The skills I learned as a child, obsessively creating magazines and collages, and the lessons I learned from my early ventures like Hostile, all led me to this point. Every experience, every setback, every success—it all culminated in The Moon.
Creating it wasn’t just about the content or the collaboration—it was about finding a way to use everything I’d learned to shine a light on the mysteries of the universe. And for someone who had always felt like they were on a journey to uncover life’s deeper truths, it was one of the most fulfilling chapters of my story.
